Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh affirmed the depth of bilateral relations with Egypt in all fields, thanks to the support and care of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and King Abdullah II of Jordan.
The Jordan News Agency reported that this came during Al-Khasawneh's meeting, today, Sunday, in his office, with the Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Dr. Muhammad Shaker, in the presence of the Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh.
Al-Khasawneh stressed that Egypt and Jordan have the same views towards various Arab, regional and international issues, and towards visions to achieve the hopes and aspirations of the peoples of the two countries, pointing out to his country's keenness to enhance prospects for joint cooperation with Egypt in all fields.
The Jordanian Prime Minister praised the outcomes of the talks held by the Egyptian and Jordanian sides in Amman today, and the agreement to raise the electric capacity between the two countries from 500 megawatts to 1,000 megawatts in the future.
Al-Khasawneh listened to Ministers Shaker and Kharabsheh plans to expand the electrical connection between the two countries, ways to develop the electricity sector, and open new markets for the import and export of electrical energy.
