Jordan to Face Switzerland in Key World Cup Warm-Up

The Jordanian national team will take on Switzerland this Sunday at Kybunpark Stadium in St. Gallen as both sides continue their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 11.

This match represents an important test for Jordan ahead of its historic first-ever World Cup appearance. The Jordanians have been drawn into Group J alongside Argentina, Algeria, and Austria. Switzerland, meanwhile, will compete in Group B with Qatar, Canada, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Switzerland head into the fixture with a squad packed with European experience. Goalkeepers include Gregor Kobel, Marvin Keller, and Yvon Mvogo. The defensive unit is led by experienced names such as Ricardo Rodriguez, Manuel Akanji, and Nico Elvedi.
