Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan and Polish President Andrzej Duda held discussions on Tuesday regarding regional developments, focusing on efforts to end the conflict in Gaza and Lebanon.

The talks emphasized ensuring the swift and sustained delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza and supporting the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in continuing its vital services to Palestinian refugees under its UN mandate.

The meeting, held at the Jordanian Prime Ministry, also explored ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in economic, diplomatic, cultural, tourism, and technical education sectors. Discussions included expanding investment collaboration between companies and business leaders in both nations.

Prime Minister Hassan highlighted the importance of leveraging Jordan's free trade agreements that grant access to global markets and Poland's expertise in industrial and technical fields.

He also noted Jordan’s major ongoing projects in water, transport, and infrastructure sectors, which present significant investment opportunities.

The meeting was attended by Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Abdullah Al-Adwan, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Eng. Sami Smeirat, and members of the Polish President’s delegation.
