Joint military exercise “Tuwaiq – 2” concludes in Saudi Arabia

The joint military exercise (Tuwaiq - 2), which were implemented over several days at Prince Sultan Air Base in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, concluded today Saturday.

Elements from the air forces and paratroopers of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Jordan and the Sultanate of Oman, participated in the exercise while Bahrain and Kuwait take part in the exercise as observers.

The concluding phase of the training included a number of different training activities and the implementation of an air drop by parachute to supply the forces involved in the training with their various needs of fuel and ammunition.

The joint training (Tuwaiq - 2) reflects the strength of the ties that bring together the Arab countries participating in the training in addition to their ability to work together to support security and stability efforts and confront common challenges in the region.
