 Johns Hopkins Uni Corona Infections  around   World Exceed 547 Million

US University of Johns Hopkins stated that the number of confirmed infections with the novel coronavirus "COVID-19" around the world rose to 547 million cases.

And the university revealed in the latest count on its website, today, Friday, that the toll of death due to infection with the deadly virus around the world rose to 6 million deaths.

The university statement explained that the United States of  America (USA) recorded the largest number of infections around the world, which amounted to more than 87.6 million infections, while India's infections exceeded 43.4 million cases, ranking second, followed by Brazil with more than 32.2 million.

According to the latest data, the USA topped the list of countries in terms of the number of deaths due to infection with the virus with more than one million deaths, followed by Brazil in second place with 671 thousand and 416 deaths, and then India in third place with a total of 525 thousand and 116 deaths.
