A maven Egyptian engineer Abdel Fatah Ragab has received the Order of Japan for his contributions in the field of economics and his role in enhancing the bilateral relations between Egypt and Japan.
The Egyptian engineer has received Japan’s Order of the Rising Sun, Silver Rays, during a ceremony recently held at the residence of the Japanese ambassador to Egypt.
Japan’s Ambassador to Egypt Masaki Noke has presented the award to the "Honorary Consul of Japan to Alexandria" in recognition of his active contributions to japan and the great role he plays in fostering relations between the Egyptians and Japanese people.
A number of Egyptian officials have attended the ceremony alongside the Japanese representatives as well as a host of prominent Egyptian politicians and economists.
