Jake Paul emerged victorious over boxing legend Mike Tyson, winning by unanimous decision in a high-profile showdown on Saturday morning.
The 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer dominated the contest, with the judges scoring the fight 80-72 and 79-73 (twice) in his favour.
Tyson, 58, struggled to land significant punches, connecting with only 18 of 97 attempts. In contrast, Paul threw 278 punches, landing 78 of them.
The fight began with Tyson's aggressive start, but he quickly fell into a defensive stance, allowing Paul to control the pace.
Despite his promise to deliver a knockout blow, Paul was unable to finish Tyson, and the crowd at AT&T Stadium expressed their dissatisfaction with occasional boos.
Following the win, Paul praised Tyson as "the greatest to ever do it" and acknowledged the challenge he posed in the ring.
Tyson, for his part, indicated he was not retiring from boxing, stating that he may continue to fight depending on future circumstances.
The fight, streamed on Netflix, marked the platform's largest live sports event to date. However, viewers experienced widespread streaming issues, with reports of outages affecting nearly 85,000 users, leading to frustrations on social media.
