A number of teachers across Egypt have been selected for International Visitor Leadership Program IVLP – Education Technology by the Regional English Language Office (RELO).

Through this program, Egyptian teachers will visit multiple educational institutions, as well as meet with U.S. government officials and education experts who have extensive experience using technology for education in rural areas.

The embassy in Cairo said that IVLP will equip them also with the new skills needed to function in the education sector.

IVLP, which is funded by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, highlights cultural exchange and knowledge sharing between Egyptian educators and their American counterparts.

According to the U.S. embassy, this premier professional exchange program will be a good opportunity for each visitor to implement and share key takeaways from their exchange with students and colleagues.
