Ittihad Jeddah Releases Tarek Hamed, Say Reports

Ittihad Jeddah released former Al Zamalek star Tarek Hamed, local reports indicated on Tuesday.

In the same context, the club is still waiting for the recovery process of the current team's captain Ahmed Hegazy.

Earlier, Ittihad Jeddah announced that Egypt's defender Ahmed Hegazi underwent successful surgery on the cruciate ligament of his left knee.

Hegazi sustained the injury during the Ittihad's clash against Al-Fayha FC. The injury caused him to miss the final round of the Saudi Professional League against Al-Tai.

The Saudi club said in a statement: "Ahmed Hegazi underwent a successful surgery on the cruciate ligament of his left knee in the British capital, London, on Wednesday."

Hamed was supposedly to stay with the club until the summer of 2024, while Hegazy's contract will expire until the summer of 2026.

However, there are no updates on the future of Igor Caique Coronado, Abderrazak Hamdallah, and Bruno Henrique.
