On Wednesday, Saudi reports claimed that Ittihad Jeddah's coach Nuno Santo didn't want Real Madrid captain Karim Benzema to join his squad.
Santo informed the board of the club that Benzema's style does not fit his playing style, in addition, Santo revealed that he didn't request the signing of the former Real Madrid star which led to tension between both in the locker room.
It was also reported that Benzema requested the captaincy at Al-Ittihad, and his request was rejected by the coach.
Moreover, the report added that the Ballon d'Or winner is 'not comfortable' working in the current environment at Al-Ittihad.
Benzema played twice for Al-Ittihad this season, and he did one assist in a 3-0 victory over Al-Raed.
