Italy announced imposing obligatory quarantine to all passengers from the UK due to the tragic spread of Delta variant, media agencies reported on Saturday.

However, passengers from other countries can enter the state if they are fully vaccinated or tested positive of COVID-19 recently. Those measures will come into force starting from June 21.

Passengers from EU, US, Canada, and Japan will be given a green permission of entry. It indicates the medical case of the person including vaccination, or recovering from the virus, according to the Italian Minister of Health Roberto Speranza.

He added that Italy banned arrivals from Bangladeshi, Sri Lanka, and India.

Various European countries started opening their doors for travelers who are fully vaccinated for spending holidays in the lands of the bloc.

On the other hand, France and Germany imposed more restriction to passengers coming from the UK
