Italy’s national team secured a 3-1 victory over hosts Estonia on Saturday evening in Tallinn.
The game was part of the seventh round of Group 9 in the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Italy’s goals came from Moise Kean (4th minute), Matteo Tigi (38th minute), and Francesco Pio Esposito (74th minute), while Runo Spinnang scored Estonia’s sole goal in the 76th minute.
With this win, Italy moved up to second place in the group standings with 12 points, having won 4 matches and lost 1, scoring 15 goals and conceding 8.
