Italian President Sergio Mattarella held a a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, in Rome, during the latter's visit to the country.
Moreover, Ukrainian President is also expected to meet with the Italian Prime Minister (PM) Giorgia Meloni, and Pope Francis.
It is worth mentioning that this is Zelensky's first visit to Italy since the beginning of the war in Ukraine in February 2022.
