Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tiani confirmed that the ideal solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is the solution of two Palestinian and Israeli states, explaining, ” noting that there are a very large number of civilian casualties due to Tel Aviv’s reaction."
In a statement reported by the Italian news agency, Tiani called on Israel not to include the population in the conflict, stressing at the same time the need to release Israeli hostages, and said that his country’s current mission is to encourage dialogue on a two-state solution.
