Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said on Wednesday that he had once again called on Israel to halt military operations targeting civilians in the Gaza Strip.
In a post on his official X account, Tajani added that he also called on Israel to immediately open all crossings to allow the entry of humanitarian aid, stressing Rome's desire for a ceasefire, the release of all hostages, and an end to the war, according to the Italian news agency ANSA. He also noted that a new group of 52 Palestinian citizens from Gaza has been transferred to Jordan and will soon arrive in Italy to receive the necessary medical care.
