At least 5 people were killed, and 19 others were injured, in an Israeli air attack that targeted several sites yesterday evening in Masyaf and the Homs countryside in central Syria.
The Syrian news agency, SANA, reported that the attack also caused extensive material damage.
According to a Syrian military source, the Israeli enemy carried out an air attack from the direction of northwest Lebanon, targeting military sites in the central region.
The source confirmed that the Syrian air defenses confronted the missiles and shot down some of them, but the attack left 3 people killed and 15 others injured.
