Israeli media reported that the daughter of Israeli Settlements Minister Orit Strock was found dead at her home in northern Israel on Saturday evening, in an incident that has sparked widespread reactions across Israeli media and social platforms.
According to The Times of Israel, Shoshana Strock, 34, was discovered deceased inside her residence. Initial reports did not provide detailed information about the circumstances surrounding her death.
Minister Orit Strock confirmed the news in a message posted on her Facebook account, writing: “With broken hearts, we bid farewell to our beloved daughter Shoshana.”
Israeli police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the death. Preliminary reports cited by Israeli outlets indicated that early findings do not currently point to criminal involvement.
At the same time, discussions on several Israeli platforms referenced previous public statements attributed to Shoshana in which she spoke about alleged abuse connected to religious practices and accused individuals within religious circles. Some commentators linked these claims to speculation that she may have taken her own life.
