Israeli Government May Review Hostage Exchange Proposals Tonight

The Israeli government will hold a meeting, tonight, to review the latest communications on the anticipated move of hostage exchange with Hamas, Cairo News broadcasted on Thursday.

On Thursday morning, Israeli forces launched a campaign of raids and arrests in various areas in the West Bank, where confrontations broke out in some areas, especially in Jenin and Tubas, according to Russia Today (RT).

The Al-Qassam Brigades in Jenin announced that its militants engaged in clashes with the Israeli forces at dawn today in western Jenin.

The brigaded said in a statement that its fighters and the resistance factions engaged in a violent clash with the Zionist occupation forces that stormed the village of Kafardan and targeted it with a heavy barrage of bullets and explosive devices.”

A video clip showed Palestinians shooting at Israeli forces during their withdrawal from the town of Kafr Dan, west of Jenin.

In Tubas, southeast of Jenin, clashes broke out between Palestinian youth and Israeli forces following the storming of the Al-Faraa camp, according to what our correspondent said.
