The Palestinian Health Ministry said that work in the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing had been suspended as a result of the occupation forces' control over it, in addition to preventing the wounded and sick Palestinians from traveling to receive treatment outside Gaza, and preventing the entry of trucks of medicines, medical equipment and fuel needed for hospitals.
The Palestinian Health Ministry added that the situation of patients in Gaza’s hospitals has been very difficult since the beginning of the war due to the lack of the components of treatment, devices, equipment and medical supplies.
The Palestinian Health Ministry called on the countries that pledged and requested lists of the sick and wounded Palestinians to fulfill and adhere to their pledges and to work urgently for their travel.
