Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar met on Wednesday with the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, to discuss the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon, stressing Israel’s commitment to the ceasefire.
Sa'ar pointed out that the ceasefire process must be in line with "Israel's security requirements" and be implemented gradually, according to what the Israeli newspaper Ynet News reported.
He added: "Lebanon has the right to achieve a better future for its people."
