The Israeli army announced the assassination of Hatem Al-Ghamri, one of the most prominent Hamas leaders in the central region of the Gaza Strip, with an air strike.
Avichay Adraee, spokesman for the Israeli army, said that Al-Ghamri was the head of the Hamas government emergency committee in the Central camps.
According to the Al Arabiya website, Al-Ghamri was a member of the military wing of Hamas in the field of launching rocket shells in the Al-Maghazi Battalion of the Central Camps.
