Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip continue to escalate, resulting in multiple casualties, including three women—one of whom is a journalist—and attacks on displaced persons camps west of Gaza City.
The humanitarian conditions inside the Gaza Strip are worsening as the attacks continue, with an increasing number of injured. The international community is largely preoccupied with wider regional developments, while the humanitarian situation inside Gaza grows more dire.
Egypt continues to provide humanitarian aid and fuel to the territory, with relief trucks queued to cross through the Kerem Abu Salem crossing. Meanwhile, the Rafah crossing on the Egyptian side remains open to receive casualties. Egyptian ambulances are on standby; however, Israeli authorities have not yet allowed the transfer of injured individuals into Egypt.
The situation remains fluid, with both civilian and journalist safety a growing concern as airstrikes persist.
