Israel's airline Arkia announced on Monday direct flights to Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, starting at $149 for a one-way ticket, according to the Times of Israel.

Also, Arkia considers providing more flights to Bahrain and Sharjah, another city in the UAE.

It also signed commercial deals with tourism companies in the UAE to provide vacation packages.
