Reports have emerged of widespread GPS disruptions throughout Israel, according to Israeli media.

Channel 14 reported that since the Israeli attack in central Beirut on Tuesday night, internet users across Israel have been experiencing significant GPS malfunctions.

The disruptions are likely a result of deliberate actions by the Israeli military, who may have disabled the GPS system due to concerns about potential missile strikes from Hezbollah.

These strikes could target not only areas close to the border but also cities further inland in retaliation for the Beirut attack.

Channel 14 further explained that GPS jamming is being conducted proactively to prevent the navigation of drones and cruise missiles.

Such disruptions typically expand when Israel anticipates aerial attacks, serving as a defensive measure to protect against possible threats.
