Israel Cuts Electricity Supply to Gaza

Israel has announced an immediate halt to electricity supply in Gaza, further tightening restrictions on the war-torn enclave.

Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen confirmed the decision on Sunday, stating that he had ordered an immediate suspension of power to the Gaza Strip.

The move comes a week after Israel blocked the entry of humanitarian aid into the territory.

Cohen emphasized that Israel would utilize all available measures to secure the release of hostages and ensure that Hamas no longer controls Gaza in the aftermath of the ongoing war.

The electricity cutoff further exacerbates the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where residents already face severe shortages of essential resources, including food, water, and medical supplies.
