On Thursday, the National Football team of Iraq will face the Oman team for the final of the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup (Khaleeji 25).

Since early morning, huge crowds of Iraqi fans were spotted before the Basra International Stadium to have the venue's seats. In addition, thousands of Omani fans couldn't access the venue which drove the Omani delegation to ask all their fans to leave.

In the same context, senior Iraqi officials including Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani, and the Governor of Basra held urgent meetings to solve the issue of the storming crowds before the stadium.

Some reports added that the Arabian Gulf Football Association may postpone the match and move it outside Iraq.

Unfortunately, the crowd crush left behind two victims and dozens of injured before the stadium, according to Bein Sports.

Moments ago, Omani authorities announced solving the issue of the crowds and asked people who are in the stadium to stay at the venue and those who couldn't access it to move away from the surrounding of the stadium.
