The Iraqi Interior Minister, General Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, has recently announced that Baghdad has successfully foiled attacks targeting military bases hosting coalition advisors.

This significant security achievement underscores the ongoing efforts of the Iraqi government to maintain stability and protect international interests within its borders.

In his statement to the “Al Arabiya” network, Al-Shammari revealed that Iraqi security forces were able to seize rocket launch platforms intended for use against military bases.

He emphasized Iraq's commitment to protecting diplomatic missions, reflecting the country's dedication to international cooperation and security.

The successful interception of these planned attacks represents a crucial aspect of Iraq's broader security strategy.

Al-Shammari’s announcement comes at a time when Iraq is actively working to control all areas to prevent any attacks on neighboring countries, further illustrating the country's commitment to regional stability.

These developments occur in the context of previous attacks on US bases in Iraq, such as the Ain Al-Assad base in Western Iraq and a base near Erbil airport.

These attacks were carried out using drones, amidst the ongoing Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip.

The targeting of these bases, often attributed to Islamic Resistance groups in Iraq, has been a point of contention and concern, particularly for the US-led coalition forces in the region.

The Iraqi government's efforts to thwart these attacks are a testament to its improved security capabilities and intelligence operations.

It reflects the government's determination to safeguard its territory from threats and maintain peace with its neighbors.

The proactive measures taken by Iraqi security forces to prevent attacks on military bases housing coalition advisors demonstrate Iraq’s growing competence in ensuring national and regional security.

The Iraqi government's commitment to protecting these bases aligns with its broader goals of maintaining stability and fostering international relationships
