The Iraqi National Security Adviser, Qassem al-Araji, stressed the need for countries to prosecute their nationals who number more than 10,000 terrorists from 50 countries in SDF prisons in northeastern Syria.

Al-Araji wrote on Twitter: “During our meetings on Sunday with NATO and on Monday with the ambassadors of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, we stressed the need for countries to prosecute their nationals of ISIS in their countries.”

He added that during our meetings yesterday with NATO and today with the ambassadors of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, we stressed the need for countries to prosecute their ISIS nationals in their countries because they present a real threat to the region and the world.

Al-Araji met the commander of the NATO mission in Iraq, Michael Anker, where they reviewed the work of the NATO mission in Iraq, especially in the field of training Iraqi forces, in addition to discussing the file of the “Al-Hol” border camp that houses more than 70 thousand family members of ISIS terrorists.
