Iraola Leads Race to Become Liverpool Manager

Spanish coach Andoni Iraola has emerged as the leading candidate to become the next manager of Liverpool FC following the departure of Arne Slot.

Liverpool confirmed in an official statement that Slot has left his position as head coach with immediate effect, adding that the process of appointing a successor is already underway.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Iraola is currently the frontrunner for the role after impressing Liverpool’s hierarchy with his work at AFC Bournemouth.

The 43-year-old Spaniard is reportedly highly regarded by Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes, who views him as a strong long-term option capable of leading the club into its next chapter.
