The Iranian authorities reopened mosques and shrines today, Monday, in 157 cities located in 132 regions. Those regions are depicted as "white" due to lesser rates of infection with the Coronavirus ( COVID-19).

Strict measures will be applied to the mosques and the shrines.

A mosque opens for half an hour only on the time of the five prayers throughout day and night. The worshipers and visitors of the shrines separate from each others to prevent more infections with the deadly virus.

Also the worshipers are forced to put on plastic gloves and face masks over the minutes they spend in the places of prayer and shrines. They will be sterilized thoroughly after every prayer.

Presenting either tea, food or offerings is prohibited during the period of precautious measures.

On the other hand, Iran has registered lower numbers of infection with the COVID-19 within the last few days.

Iran's President Hassan Rouhani said yesterday that he discussed with senior officials in the government reopening schools in the white regions next Saturday, affirming that no decision has not been taken yet.

Rouhani went to say that Iran's Ministry of Health unveiled that 85% of population apply health guidelines in work places across the country.

The spokesman of the ministry pointed out that Iran records the highest percentage of recovery of the COVID-19 among the countries fight the pandemic.
