Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, quoting informed sources, revealed that Tehran continues to refuse linking the release of its frozen assets abroad to the file of enriched nuclear materials, amid ongoing indirect negotiations with the United States.

According to the sources, Iran emphasizes the necessity of releasing a portion of its frozen funds and assets from the very beginning of any potential understanding, maintaining that this step constitutes an essential prerequisite for building mutual trust between the two sides.

The sources explained that Tehran has not yet provided any commitments regarding the details of the nuclear file, pointing out that the discussions are still witnessing disagreements over a number of core clauses.

Tasnim confirmed that the United States and Iran have not reached a final agreement up to this moment, despite growing talk of relative progress in the negotiation track over recent days.
