Iranian state television reported on Tuesday that no Iranian delegation has departed for Pakistan to attend peace talks with the United States.

This statement refutes international news reports suggesting that Iranian representatives had headed to Islamabad and that schedules for U.S.-Iranian negotiations had been established.

In a related context, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, stated that U.S. President Donald Trump is attempting—through the imposition of a blockade and the violation of the ceasefire—to transform the negotiating table into a "table of surrender" or to justify a resumption of hostilities as he sees fit.

Writing on the X platform (formerly Twitter), Qalibaf added: "We do not accept negotiations under the weight of threats. Over the past two weeks, we have been preparing to reveal new cards on the battlefield."

Meanwhile, the Israel Hayom newspaper cited sources indicating that Washington is not prepared at this stage to set a date for a new round of talks with Iran.

Conversely, NBC News quoted a U.S. official stating that there is ongoing communication between the United States and Iran, noting progress in efforts to reach an agreement.
