Abed Mahfouz Unveils Elegant Winter 2020/2021 Bridal Collection

International Lebanese designer Abed Mahfouz unveiled his latest winter 2020/2021 bridal collection.

The collection was photographed at his ruined house so that we do not forget the horrific Beirut port explosion.

This is the first collection Mahfouz to release after moving to Dubai to work, after committing to work in his homeland, Lebanon, for years.

Simplicity and sophistication

The new collection is distinguished by sophistication and simplicity. The designer used simple cuts to show the beauty and grace of the bride, as well as luxurious fabrics and embody with strass and diamonds to gives the bride a special and distinctive look.

* Puffed sleeves

This year, the broad-shouldered girls are in for a treat, as puffed sleeves are trendy.

Mahfouz took care to present a design for this style, which targets those with chubby shoulders. He presented a design that relied on puffy ruffle sleeves, which gave a beautiful appearance.

However, the design fits only a specific type of body.

* Long tail

The bride’s long tail wedding dress is still a dream that the bride’s family cherishes, perhaps more than the bride herself.

The designer presented soft and delicate designs decorated with a long tail for a dress that the bride would wear for the best night of her life.

He presented fauna, in some of them, in a simple artistic way that gives the designs luxury and highlights the body.

* Luxurious hand embroidery

Mahfouz is as distinguished as a fashion house, he has the experience and mastery in all fields of cutting, hand stitching, and hand embroidery haute couture that makes each design special and distinctive, which is what the designer is keen on and appears clear in this collection.

He relied on drawn units of tree leaves and a soft rose, all embroidered with strass or small pearls, which gave the design softness and elegance.

* Color variations

The designer broke the rules of adhering to the bride with white socks, presenting shades of white beginning from off-white and ivory to the beige and golden shades, all of which have their luster and distinction.

* Feathers and fur

Winter has its mark, which Mahfouz placed in touches of feathers and fur as well as distributed artistically and with softness.

Finally, the wedding dress is a set of fine details that needs a creative, elegant, and sophisticated designer who has outstanding taste, to make the bride look like an elegant queen.
