Inter Milan pulled off a dramatic 4-3 comeback win over Como on Sunday at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia in Serie A round 32.
Como started strongly, taking a two goal lead through Alex Valle in the 36th minute and Nico Paz just before halftime. However, Marcus Thuram reduced the deficit for Inter in stoppage time of the first half.
Inter returned after the break with intensity, as Thuram struck again in the 49th minute to level the score. Denzel Dumfries then completed the turnaround with two goals in the 58th and 72nd minutes.
Lucas Da Cunha pulled one back for Como from the penalty spot in the 89th minute, but Inter held on to secure a thrilling victory.
The win strengthens Inter’s position at the top of the Serie A table with 75 points, extending their lead over Napoli to nine points, while Como remain fifth with 58 points.
The result marks one of Inter’s most impressive comebacks this season, driven by standout performances from Thuram and Dumfries.
