Inter Milan to Face Lazio in Coppa Italia Final

Inter Milan will look to complete a domestic double when they face Lazio tonight at the Stadio Olimpico in the Coppa Italia final.

Lazio aim to win their eighth Coppa Italia title and their first since the 2018–19 season, while Inter are chasing a tenth trophy in the competition after recently securing the Serie A title.

Lazio reached the final after a dramatic semi-final against Atalanta, decided on penalties after a 3–3 aggregate draw, with Lazio winning the shootout 2–1 after Atalanta missed four spot-kicks. 

Inter, meanwhile, booked their place in the final by defeating Como.

The match also carries historical weight, recalling their 2000 final meeting when Lazio lifted the trophy. Their most recent league encounter at the same venue ended in a dominant 3–0 win for Inter, in a match that also saw a red card for Lazio defender Alessio Romagnoli.

Inter head into the final with some injury concerns, as striker Marcus Thuram faces doubts after picking up a knock in training, while midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu remains unavailable for group training. Coach Cristian Chivu is expected to adjust his attacking setup as Inter aim to secure another trophy in a highly successful season.
