Inter Milan secured a dramatic 3–2 victory over Como on Tuesday evening at Giuseppe Meazza Stadium, booking their place in the Coppa Italia final after a thrilling semifinal second leg.

Como took the lead in the first half through Martin Baturina, who found the net in the 32nd minute to give the visitors a 1–0 advantage heading into the break.

The away side extended their lead shortly after halftime, with Lucas Da Cunha scoring in the 48th minute to put Inter under significant pressure.

Inter responded strongly in the second half, led by Turkish midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu, who scored twice in the 69th and 86th minutes to level the match.

As the game appeared headed for extra time, Petar Sučić delivered a decisive blow, scoring in the 89th minute to complete a remarkable comeback and send the home crowd into celebration.

The first leg between the two sides, played in March, had ended in a goalless draw, making Inter’s second-leg victory decisive in securing qualification.

They will now face the winner of the other semifinal clash between Lazio and Atalanta in the final.

Inter entered the match with high confidence as they edge closer to clinching the Serie A title.

The team is aiming to complete a domestic double this season by adding the Coppa Italia trophy, which would mark the tenth in the club’s history.

Despite their exit from European competitions, the debut season of head coach Cristian Chivu could still become historic.

If Inter secures both league and cup titles, it would mark the club’s first domestic double since 2010 under José Mourinho, when Chivu himself was part of that iconic squad.
