On Friday, Lionel Messi's Inter Miami announced the departure of their head coach Gerardo "Teta" Martino due to personal reasons.
The club announced that Teta is leaving Inter Miami CF with "nothing but gratitude."
Martino confirmed reports that he is leaving his position for personal reasons and said he is returning to his homeland, Argentina.
Martino said on Friday: "It has been an honor to work at such a special club and to lead such a special team," adding: "I've enjoyed my stay at Inter Miami and will treasure the memories made and relationships forged here for the rest of my life.
"I depart with nothing but gratitude for my time here and would like to offer sincere thanks to everyone who made it possible."
Currently, the Major Soccer League (MLS) side are searching for a new head coach, and the search is "expected to conclude in the near future."
In the same context, several reports suggested that Argentina's under-20 national football team coach Javier Mascherano will be the new head coach of the team.
