On Thursday, Inter Miami won the 2024 MLS Supporters' Shield, so, they may be invited for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The team is so close to be a host representative, so, Miami's Hard Rock Stadium could potentially host the opening match of the tournament.
MLS would be represented by two teams as the Seattle Sounders, who qualified after winning the 2022 CONCACAF Champions Cup title.
32 teams will participate in the tournament with Clubs from AFC, CAF, Concacaf, CONMEBOL, OFC and UEFA set to partake.
The tournament will take place from June 15 to July 13 2025.
