Veteran Egyptian actor Yehia El-Fakharany will participate in Ramadan 2021 with TV series “Naguib Zahi ZarKish”.
The series is directed by El-Fakharany’s son, director Shady El-Fakharany, and written by Abdel-Rahim Kamal, which marks the actor's fourth collaboration with Shady and fifth with Rahim Kamal.
The trio began collaborating in 2012, with TV series "Al Khawaga Abdel Kader", then in 2014’s TV series "Dahsha", and 2018’s TV series "Wanoos ", which received a tremendous success during its premiere time in Ramadan.

El Fakharany's latest artistic work is play "King Lear".
The play also stars Farouk Al-Fishawy, Rania Farid Shawki, Riham Abdel Ghafour, Nedal El Shafei, Heba Magdy, Mohamed Farag, Ahmed Azmy, Ahmed Fouad Selim, Heba Magdi, and Nasser Seif.
King Lear is a tragic play written by William Shakespeare. It is about King Lear, the elderly king of Britain, who decides to pide his kingdom between his three daughters: Goneril, Regan, and Cordelia.
The play was performed for the first time in 2011 starring Fakharany along with Sawsan Badr, Ahmed Salama, and Riham Abdel Ghafour.

It is worth mentioning that El-Fakharany, born on April 7, 1945, is an Egyptian actor and former doctor.
He studied at the faculty of medicine and earned a pediatrician degree, however, he did not work as a doctor but rather began a career in acting, something he is quite passionate about.
El-Fakharany, who rose to fame in the 1960s, is known among his fans for his pleasant laugh and friendly nature.
In 1985, he starred alongside Mahmoud Abdel Aziz in film “Edam Mayet” (The Execution), which opened many acting gigs for him.

El-Fakharany took part in over 117 films, television series, and theatrical production. He is married to Lamis Gaber and has two children: the director Shady El-Fakharany and Tarek El-Fakharany.
He is best known for his roles on TV series "Abna'y Al-A'ezaa'..Shokran" (1979), "Laialy El-Helmeya" (1987), "Nesf Rabie' Al-Akhar" (1996), "Zezainya" (1997), "Opera Aida" (2000), "Lel-Adala Wogoh Kathera" (2001), "Al-Lail Wa Akhroh" (2003) "Abbas El-Abyad Fi El-Youm Al-Aswad (2004), "Sekket El-Hilaly" (2006), "Yetraba Fi Ezzo" (2007), "Abdel-Kader El-Khawaga Abdel-Kader" (2012), "Dahsha" (2014), "Wanoos" (2016), and "Bel Hagm el A'eli" (2018).
El-Fakharany is also best known for his roles in films "Hob Fe El-Zenzana" (1983), "El-Keif" (1985), and "Edam Mayet" (1985).
