Prince Harry and Meghan Markle kicked off on September 23 their first official tour with baby Archie.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex ten-day royal tour to southern Africa promote dialogue between faiths.

Markle alongside husband Prince Harry visited the Waves for Change project on Tuesday.

The royal couple danced with a group of mentors who teach vulnerable youngsters from townships to swim and surf, before visiting South Africa’s oldest mosque in Cape Town.

‘Following in the footsteps of Princess Diana’

Following the visit to Waves for Change project, the Duchess of Sussex wore Tuesday headscarf a sign of respect, following in the footsteps of Princess Diana as she joined the Duke of Sussex at South Africa's first and oldest mosque.

They paid homage to Heritage Day —a public holiday in South Africa when the nation celebrates its culture, persity, and traditions— by a visit to the historic Auwal Mosque in Bo-Kaap, Cape Town.

‘Meghan message to South African teenage girls’

Markle praised South African teenage girls for standing up for what is right in a speech about gender-based violence during her and Prince Harry's visit to the Cape Town township of Nyanga.

The Duchess of Sussex stood on a tree stump, where 206 are killed per year, address crowds of local women and girls supported by community charity Justice Desk, which is supported by the Queen's Commonwealth Trust.

They visited the troubled township amid a major security presence, with details kept secret until the last minute to prevent any unrest and with Archie left behind at their residence with his nanny.

"Tea with veteran Desmond Tutu"

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out on Wednesday as a family of three to meet with South African human rights activist Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his daughter, Thandeka Tutu-Gxashe.

In a video from the visit, Meghan shared her nickname for the little tyke during his first-ever official engagement, as she was heard calling him “Bubba.”
