On Tuesday, the Indonesian Coast Guard announced that it had detained an Iranian-flagged tanker on suspicion of illegally transporting oil.

The Coast Guard said in a statement that the ship "Arman 114" was carrying 272,569 tons of light crude oil, and it is suspected that it was transferring oil to another ship without a permit.

It reported that he had seized the ship after it was seen pumping oil to the Cameroon-flagged "S Tinos" ship.

The ship was also suspected of violating other maritime regulations, such as sailing unknowingly and operating without a permit from the port, the Coast Guard.
