Indian PM: Wise Leadership of President Sisi Preserved Egypt from Chaos

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held on Wednesday talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 

The Prime Minister of India expressed his country's great appreciation to the President and his wise leadership that maintained security, stability of state institutions in Egypt following the chaos and violence in the region during what was known as the Arab Spring, Ambassador Bassam Rady, the official spokesman for the Presidency said. 

The Indian Prime Minister also hailed the unprecedented development renaissance that Egypt is currently witnessing. 

On his part,  President Sisi extended his congratulations on India's celebrations of the "Republic Day", expressing his appreciation for the invitation he received to participate as a guest of honor during these celebrations.

President Sisi and Mr. Modi discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations at various levels, as the Indian Prime Minister pointed out to his country's aspiration to enhance mutual investments in many sectors and to increase the volume of trade exchange between the two friendly countries through the participation of Indian companies in the implementation of giant national projects in Egypt.

The president welcomed enhancing cooperation with the Indian side in various fields.
