In the Midst of Millions, I Stand with My President against Displacement- Op-ed

My heart goes out to the people of Gaza as they experience genocide, with continued famine, cutting off water, food and medicine, and bombing of hospitals in Gaza, including attempts to force them to leave their homeland and head to Sinai.

On the other hand, Israel is refusing to enter aid from the Egyptian side, including these of the National Alliance, which have been piled up for a week in Rafah and Al-Arish, separating them a few meters away from Gaza.

The ongoing barbaric Israeli bombing of the Rafah crossing is part of the criminal plan that is resisted by the courage and steadfastness of the Palestinian resistance and its adherence to its land.

Therefore, my mind and patriotism are with my president, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who was led by fate to be the faithful guardian of this country, which he expressed during the press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

Al-Sisi said that Egypt rejects the military liquidation of the Palestinian cause, and stressed the rejection of all deliberate practices against civilians. 'We reject all deliberate practices against civilians and call on the international community to intervene immediately to stop the bombing of Gaza, which culminated in the attack on the Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Strip.'

He added that Egypt has not closed the Rafah crossing since the beginning of the crisis, and pointed out that Egypt cannot allow the forced displacement of Palestinians. 'The Palestinians could be transferred to the Negev Desert in Israel until the militants are dealt with.'

Talking about transferring the idea of resistance and fighting from the Gaza Strip to Sinai, and thus the confrontations with the occupier will move to confrontations with Egypt, and Egypt is a large country that has been sincerely keen on peace, as it asked the Egyptian people to come out to express their rejection of the idea and support the Egyptian position in this matter. 'You will see millions in the streets against the tranfer idea'.

For all this, I, along with millions in the street, reject the criminal plan against the Palestinian cause and insist that the end of Israeli violence and terrorism and the establishment of a Palestinian state on the land of Palestine is the only way to just peace and security for all peoples!
