In Pics: Sisi Inspects Development Works in Eastern Cairo

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inspected development works of a number of new axes and roads in eastern Cairo on Friday including Adly Mansour metro station of the third line, the largest of its kind in the Middle East and Africa, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.

Rady said that Sisi also inspected Adly Mansour Corridor, which was established with a width of 16 traffic lanes of 8 lanes in each direction and includes 11 bridges for cars and pedestrians, to be a new traffic artery that integrates with the Ismailia desert road network, Belbeis and East Cairo, and connects with the axis Mohamed Al-Assar at Mostorod Bridge, through the axes of Shubra-Benha, Long Live Egypt, Dabaa, and the Alexandria Desert Road.

During the inspection tour, the president discussed with officials at a number of work sites the progress of the current operational steps; stressing that he adheres to the timetables set for the completion of projects with high technical and engineering specifications.

Moreover, Sisi stopped to speak with many citizens, as he congratulated them on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, and listened to their views, as well as their living conditions.
