What is the secret behind this new variant that is infecting people? Almost every house has at least one patient, if not the entire family infected: severe fever, intense body aches, and an "abnormal" cough. Initially, doctors prescribe the usual cold remedies, a fever reducer, an antibiotic, and complete rest. However, within hours, not days, the fever does not drop; instead, it rises sharply, accompanied by heavy bone pain, and the patient's condition deteriorates instead of improving. Upon performing a chest X-ray, the doctor discovers severe pneumonia that does not resemble the traditional colds we know, and this requires hospitalisation.

One of the most prominent virologists confirmed that, despite the negative swab result, this is the new Coronavirus variant and the "Corona protocol must be applied." Indeed, the swab and lab tests do not show any infection, but the clinical picture and X-rays upon examination confirm something entirely different. We notice complaints in many homes around us featuring the same symptoms: high fever, severe body aches, persistent cough, unexplained fatigue, and cases of pneumonia. Amidst all this, there is insufficient awareness. There are no warnings from doctors, and no social media platforms explaining what is happening.

The problem is that people do not know how to act. Should they isolate the patient? Is it contagious? When does the infectivity lessen? Should we return to wearing masks? How do we differentiate between a simple cold and a dangerous infection? The answers exist, but they are not reaching us.

There should be television campaigns by chest physicians and virology professors to raise awareness, explain the symptoms, and detail preventative measures. How do we differentiate between cases? What are the signs that necessitate an emergency visit? How do we care for the patient? Which medications should not be taken without supervision? There is a wave of respiratory illnesses, which might be a mixture of more than one virus, or it may carry severe variants of Corona, Influenza, or other winter viruses.
