In 48Hrs, 2,500 Visits to "Our Museum Treasures" Exhibition

The Minister of Culture invites all Egyptians to visit "Our Museums Treasures" Exhibition that will be displayed on the website of the Ministry of Culture and the General Information Authority.

Abdel Dayem: Egypt is one of the most important countries in the world in preserving the artistic and cultural heritage of human civilization.

Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, said that the visitors turn out at "Our Museums Treasures" exhibition entitled "Selections from European Art" in its fifth edition was high. The turnout reached 2,500.

Abdel Dayem added that this figure confirms that Egypt is one of the most important countries in the world safeguarding the artistic and cultural heritage of human civilization.

The minister added that the exhibition includes 100 works, including perse plastic arts dating back to the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, reflecting the interest of Egypt with the global artistic movement throughout the ages.

The minister also indicated the interest of Egypt to safeguard the artistic heritage by monitoring the number of visitors of the exhibition in the first 48 hours of its opening, reaching 2,500 visitors.

This turnout confirmed that Egypt will always be the incubator of culture and the arts with all its forms.

Furthermore, the minister invited all Egyptians to visit this exhibition, which greatly contributes to spreading visual culture and promoting the artistic taste of the Egyptian citizens, especially youth.

She decided to put a copy of the works presented on the official website of the Ministry of Culture and the Authority General Information Services in both Arabic and English languages so that the world can see part of the Arabic and English heritage .

It is noteworthy that the exhibition works daily until 31 October; it includes artistic collections from Al-Gezira Museum, the Museum of Muhammad Mahmoud Khalil and his wife, the Museum of plastic Arts in Alexandria for international plastic art icons, including the following artists : Paul Goghan, Camille Pissarro, Rodin Renoir, Alfred Sisley, Edgar Deja, Delacroix, Corro, Monet, Manet, Courbet and others.
