The Cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) launched the fifth session of the "Knowledge" meetings, in collaboration with the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO).
In a statement recently issued by the IDSC, it said that the fifth meeting, running between May 7-8, sheds light on the mechanisms of transition to smart governments.
It also noted that the significance of the event comes in light of consecutive challenges posed by crises, prompting the acceleration toward transformation into smart governments.
The acceleration toward conversion to smart governments has contributed to boosting global interest in adopting smart applications, leading to a raise by dlrs 21.9 billion in the market of smart government applications in the year 2021, the statement added.
Meanwhile, Allied Market Research showed that the global smart government market size will reach dlrs 124.7 billion in the year 2031, with an estimated compound growth rate of 19.4 percent during the period between (2031-2022).
