The cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Centre (IDSC) held the first national dialogue session on the eight-direction document of Egypt's economic strategy for 2024-2030.
According to a statement issued by IDSC on Wednesday, Osama El-Gohary, assistant to Egypt's prime minister and chairman of the IDSC, highlighted the extensive efforts made in developing this strategy.
He added: “Over six months, the IDSC collaborated with 400 domestic and international experts in 19 workshops, resulting in a comprehensive framework consisting of 873 recommendations."
The session discussed the policies, implementation mechanisms, and potential funding sources required to achieve the strategy.
The session featured appearances by senior figures, experts, professors, representatives from parliament, and delegates from the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
