IDSC: Egypt Invests in Increasing its Harvest

The Egyptian Cabinet’s IDSC released a new infographic titled “Egypt Invests in Increasing its Harvest”.

The latest infographic sheds light on FAO’s Food Outlook Annual report’s insights on Egypt’s agricultural production by the end of 2022.

The report shows the fruitful efforts of the Egyptian Government in preventing the food crisis by adopting several consumption policies to preserve stocks, in addition to raising local production.

The Egyptian government has been investing in the agriculture sector as part of the long-term solution to the food crisis, the report explained.

The report also said that the harvests forecasts record positive insights, noting Maize production will hit 7.5 million tons, and wheat production will record 9.7 million tons by 2022.
