Ibrahim Adel Arrives in Madrid for Getafi's Medical Tests

Egypt International and Pyramids star Ibrahim Adel arrived in Madrid to have the medical tests to finalize Getafe move, media reports said on Thursday.

Adel presented an impressive run at the 2024 Paris Olympics, scoring three goals to help Egypt finish fourth in the tournament. 

He was also named the the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations Best Player award.

It was reported that Adel received several offers from European clubs like Girona, Wolves, Ipswich Town, and Leicester City.

However, Adel name's is now linked with Getafe which submitted a bid estimated at $500,000 for a season on loan, with an option to buy.

If the deal is done, Adel will be the only second Egyptian to play in LaLiga after Ahmed Hossam Mido, who played for Celta Vigo in 2003.
